Review: 4**** Much Ado About Nothing – St Paul’s Church @iristheatre

The charming and rustic St. Paul’s church is at the very heart of Covent Garden. Designed in 1631 and completed in 1633, it truly is a piece of history, and is known as “the actors’ church” for good reason. It is a beautiful representation of Stuart architecture and a marvellous setting for Shakespeare.

Review: 3*** Karagula Secret Location @wearepigdog

Karagula is generally described in very vague terms, such as “sweeping fantasy epic” and other incredibly broad terms that almost obscure more than they clarify. Very fond of in medias res, the play beings with disjointed conversations between an old man in what appears to be a time machine and a recording, which fades inContinue reading “Review: 3*** Karagula Secret Location @wearepigdog”

News – Immersion Theatre’s Announces its Open Air  Immersive Production of Wizard of Oz, coming to a town near you this summer. @Immersion_Thtr

The Wizard of Oz was one of those films when I was younger which was put on on a Sunday afternoon when it was wet and miserable to keep me and my brother entertained for a few hours. Review: Played to Death – @adoorinawall

#Tweetingit – 4**** – Musical Murder, teamwork, hidden clues and running around public parks in doggy ears. All good clean London fun! Its 7:30pm in London, I’m wearing dress shoes that pinch and my waistcoat is a tad to small…. or I’m too portly, jury’s out. I’m staring up at a large nineteenth-century novelty clockContinue reading “Review: Played to Death – @adoorinawall”

The Gin Chronicles – St Bart’s Brewary – By Interrupt the Routine’s Misfits of London

#Tweetingit – 5* Step back in time with the perfect tonic (and a large glass of gin or three) to a hard day in 2000’s Britain. I’ve never done an escape room before so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Described as crystal maze on crystal meth, there was a lot for it to live up to. Our team, Endless Nightmare, wanted to prove themselves, to Gabriel (our host), to ourselves, and to previous competitors, We don’t fail, we don’tContinue reading “REVIEW – Lady Chastity’s Reserve – Peoples Tavern East London @HM_Mysteries @peoplestavern”
